CSVUSA: Cat Special Victims Unit South Africa
Who We Are
CSVUSA is a dedicated rescue organization specializing in the "Special Victims" of the feline world. We focus our energy on the cases that need us most: rescues with disabilities, physical deformities, and those who have survived severe abuse. While others may turn away, we step in to provide a voice for the voiceless and a chance at a dignified life.
Our 2025 Impact
Thanks to our incredible network of supporters and fosters, we achieved the following in 2025:
* 703 pets sterilized in underserved communities.
* 406 pets successfully placed in loving forever homes.
* 198 kittens hand-reared by our dedicated team.
* 108 pets provided with life-saving emergency medical care.
* 78 lost pets reunited with their families.
* 13 new bottle-feeding fosters trained to save neonatal lives.
Our Partnerships
"This section was removed, due to a specific organization taking umbridge at having themselves complimented."
We will still continue to ensure a great working Partnership with any organization that has the animals at heart. And we wish to Thank those that stand by us.
Looking Ahead: Our 2026 Vision
We are growing, and our goals for the coming year are ambitious:
* The Big 2000: We are aiming to sterilize a minimum of 2,000 cats this year to combat the overpopulation crisis at its source.
* Education & Outreach: Expanding our reach into struggling communities to provide pet care resources and guidance.
* School Programs: Visiting local schools to provide children with fun, engaging education on animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
* A Place to Call Home: We are currently seeking land or space to establish a fully functional shelter facility, allowing us to expand beyond our current foster-based model.
* Advanced Care: We are excited to announce the arrival of a specialized incubator, which will significantly increase the survival rate of the premature kittens in our care.
> Our Mission: To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the cats that society has forgotten, while educating the next generation to lead with compassion.
